光町消防団の法被です。

調べたところ千葉県九十九里平野にあった地名のようですが定かではありません。

藍色の地の色褪せ具合がとても良く、褪せて藍と朱が明るくなっています。

インディゴデニムと同じく洗い晒らした心地よさがあります。

This happi coat was made for the fire company of Hikari town which

existed somewhere at the Kyujyu-Kuri plain in Chiba prefecture.

The indigo blue of the base fabric has nicely faded and the vermilion

and the blue from the prints were brightened.

It became comfortable as well-washed indigo denims.
