節句 幟旗 ／FLAG for Boy's Festival

節供の幟旗です。

武将の乗った茶色の馬の頭部と

もう一頭の黒馬の足の部分を使いました。

主人の武将が心暖かい人だったのか

やさしい目のいい顔立ちをした茶馬です。

A vertically long flag for the

Japanese boy's festival.

We decided to cut out the most fascinating section

of the picture -a brown horse's head with the warlord riding on its back, and the other black horse's paws running beside them.

We imagining that the owner warlord must have

treated the horse with compassion, as its eyes are

so gently depicted in a pleasant face.
