cotton cloth used as improvised headbands ,

hand towels and has many other various uses.

Shops or firms sometimes distribute tenugui as an advertisement of their openings or special occasions,

but this one from the Ladies Chamber of Commerce / Industry in Sakai-minato,Totori-prefecture had no description but a charming little smile of an Okame

the goddess of mirth and folly, the personification

of ugly good matured woman.
