下大津は長崎県の港に面した町でしょうか。

良い感じに着こなされた風合いの半纏です。

半纏の中でも印半纏は背中の印で、着ているだけで、

その人がどの組に属しているか、どこのお店の出入りの者か、

あるいはどんな職業の人間かを一目で分からせるものでした。

特に火消し半纏は火事場で、火を消すという任務が間違いなく、

効率良く行われる為に重要な目印の役目を果たしていたようです。

大工、鳶、左官、植木屋、八百屋、魚屋、など

職人達が背中に江戸文字で自分達の職業や屋号を染め

粋に着こなしていました。
