節句幟旗 ／ FLAG for Boy's Festival

端午の節供に男の子の健やかな成長を願い飾られた幟旗です。

長さはおよそ7m。男子の立身出世を願い、絵柄には

武将、加藤清正の有名な虎退治の伝説が使われています。

子を思う親の心が長く長く、天にまで届くようです。

This is one of the flags for the Japanese boy’s festival

to wish his future well-being and success.

It depicts a picture of the famous warlord Kiyomasa Kato

fighting against a tiger.

The flag is vertically seven meters long, the height of

the parents’ wish  reaching way up to the sky.
