仕付け糸のついたまま仕舞われていたものです。

表に見えないところでこんなに明るく鮮やかな

色柄を身に付ける着物の着こなしというものは、繊細なようで大胆な、

とてもドラマチックな演出だ、と感じさせられます。

The printed fabric, with vermillion, peach and white chrysanthemums,

was originally made for the jyuban, worn underneath of kimonos.

It was well kept with still basting stitches attached.

Wearing brilliant colors and prints underneath seems to be bold and

very dramatic ways of dressing kimonos with sensitivity.
