刺し子 半纏 ／ "SASHIKO" HANTEN- Lively coat

刺し子の半纏の袖を使いました。

火消し半纏を真似たのでしょう。

火に向かうほど分厚くはありませんが、

背中の紋もパッチワークされていて

なかなか斬新な半纏です。

as a way to fortify coarse hemp to make it warmer and more durable.
